The Grand Old Fourth is an island tradition celebrating community and connection, full of activities for all ages. Enjoy Bainbridge Island’s big 4th of July parade downtown, and find our booth in the Street Fair near Town & Country! The Street Fair runs 10 am – 5 pm, and is a one-day only summer festival with as many as 100 vendor booths featuring food, entertainment, shopping and information. BPAA astronomers and staff will be on hand to share about Battle Point Observatory, demonstrate our solar telescope, and talk about all things astronomical! Please come by and say hello.
