Astrophotography Special Interest Group (ASIG)
August’s ASIG meeting will be held on the third Saturday, August 15th, in the Gardiner Library of the Battle Point Observatory. Start time is 11 am.
Sounds of Summer Concert series at Battle Point Park
Get a peek inside Battle Point Observatory, alongside BI Parks “Terry’s Sounds of Summer” free concert series at Battle Point Park. Wednesday nights in July & August, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm starting July 8.
Summer Solstice and the Venus-Jupiter Conjunction
On May 30, and again on June 20, a number of BPO members and guests gathered on Sundial Hill for star parties.
Summer Star Parties
Our next star party is scheduled for Saturday, July 18. Then in August, join us every Friday evening when we’ll have telescopes out for the Movies in the Park hosted by BI Parks.

AED Installed at BPO
Thanks to the generous support of Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, Battle Point Observatory now has an AED installed in the lobby!
