BPAA has a variety of volunteer opportunities available at Battle Point Observatory!

Volunteer Opportunities Open!
- Learn how to give a Planetarium Show or “Docents in the Dome” tour of the Observatory to visitors. Training provided.
- Sundial Restoration: work with a small group to refresh the Equatorial Sundial in Battle Point Park (Spring 2026)
- Are you handy and great with a punch list? Or do you enjoy 3D printing? The Ritchie Workshop needs you!
- Do you have basic telescope knowledge and interested in helping with our telescope lending library? Or developing skills with telescope repair and technical projects?
- Are you a “people connector” with social media, marketing, or event planning?
- Science professionals and educators: help write materials, locate speakers or plan upcoming classes.
