Trip to the Observatory: Booking Now Available!

School Groups

School groups can now arrange field trips to Battle Point Observatory, often free of charge. Get your students excited about science with fun tours, out-of-this-world planetarium shows, and more!

Private Groups

Interested in a private show instead? No problem! Bring family and friends for your own personal astronomical experience. Birthday parties, team-building, or just for fun, we’re happy to have you.

Public Planetarium Shows

Offered at the Observatory on most Saturdays! Shows at 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Please check our website calendar before coming, or give us a call, to know if the Observatory is open for public shows.

Tickets available at the door: $10/adult, $5/kids + tax. $5 discount to BPAA Members!

Hike the Solar System!

Did you know there is a scale model of the Solar System at Battle Point Park? It was an Eagle Scout project completed in 2020 with the assistance of Scout Troop 1564 and with generous support from Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District, Battle Point Astronomical Association, and Bainbridge Community Foundation.
