The Latest Cosmic Conversations was about the Search for Planet Nine. We didn’t find it but now we better understand why some astronomers think there is one (or more) and how difficult it is to find. The Rubin telescope should be able to detect it if it is visible from the latitude of the telescope.
The next cosmic conversations will be about the “Red Dots” the JWST has observed and what they might tell us about the formation of the first stars and galaxies. Plan on joining this hybrid in-person/zoom event on Tuesday September 16.
