The Battle Point Observatory has been invited by the Jett Foundation to attend a stargazing event for their Camp Promise summer camp this June.
The Jett Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding and empowering individuals and families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Camp Promise is a free summer camp for ages 13+ that they host every year in locations across the country. You can learn more about it here: https://www.jettfoundation.org/camp-promise/
Members and volunteers of the observatory have been invited to the Mount Vernon camp, which will be held June 7-10 of next year.
