Introduction to Astronomy 101

Observe, discover, and learn about the wonders of the Universe. This is a beginner class for curious minds (ages 16 yrs +) to engage in hands-on learning experiences in astronomy, space exploration, and the technologies that make it possible.

The class consists of 5 sessions on every other Saturday starting 6/27. Sessions are from 1pm-3pm.

Planet Pioneers

Blast off with Planet Pioneers, led by Erin Howard, Rudolph Planetarium Manager and research Scientist with the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. Explore planets through hands-on activities, exciting lessons, movies, and planetarium shows. Discover gas giants, rocky worlds, and more while learning from a real-life astronomer. Perfect for young space enthusiasts (ages 10-16 yrs) ready to explore the wonders of our solar system!

The class consists of 5 sessions on every other Saturday starting 6/27. Sessions are from 10am-noon.
