Grand Old Fourth Celebration, Plus a Telescope Raffle!

Come find our booth & say hello at the Grand Old Fourth street fair! Join in Bainbridge Island’s biggest summer celebration. The Fourth of July in downtown Winslow will be packed with vendors, food, family-friendly fun zone, a parade, car show, and more!

SPECIAL THIS YEAR: a Telescope Raffle! Come find our booth from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, tickets only $1.00 for your chance to win a National Geographic 114 mm Newtonian Reflector from the BPO library. Prize includes an adjustable tripod AND a 30-minute telescope orientation scheduled with a BPO Astronomer! Start your exploration of the Universe and discover the night sky.

Can’t make it to the Grand Old Fourth, but want to buy raffle tickets? Drop by Battle Point Observatory on either Friday July 3, 2026 (noon – 4:00 pm) or Sunday July 5, 2026 (noon – 4:00 pm).

Prize drawing will be held Sunday, July 5 2026 at 4:00 pm, at Battle Point Observatory (10800 Battle Point Drive NE, Bainbridge Island, WA). Need not be present to win, winners responsible for prize pick-up.
