Would You Be Interested In A Women In Stem-Focused Book Club?
We’re thinking about starting a Zoom book club this Fall or Winter focused on biographies and memoirs about Women in STEM–and we’d love to know if you’d be interested in joining! The goal is to bring more recognition to the incredible contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and math, while also helping to fill a gap: many of these books–such as Tethered Mercury and Vera Rubin: Dark Matter, Bright Mind–have few (if any) reviews on sites like Goodreads, leaving them to fall even further into obscurity. If you’re excited about reading and discussing these stories with others, let us know!
Please email Erin at education@bpastro.org with your thoughts, time constraints, book recommendations, and anything else that comes to mind.
