Our original speaker had a scheduling conflict, but we’re thrilled to announce that Planetarium Manager and Education Officer Erin Leigh Howard will be stepping in with a talk that might sound familiar to our Galaxy Guild members: Measuring the Night Sky!
You’ll explore how humans—from ancient stargazers to modern astronomers and enthusiasts—have measured the cosmos. Plus, you’ll get an exclusive preview of the exciting kids, teens, and adult classes we’re rolling out with Bainbridge Island Parks and Rec!
After the talk, stick around for a planetarium show and, if the weather holds, a Star Party.
